Microchanneling or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to stimulate your body’s production of collagen. Our medical grade growth factor serum contains twice the amount of growth factors than the professional serum and penetrates into the skin with the help of our microchanneling device. Our nurse practitioner can also can use your own platelets in lieu of stem cells. This procedure has little downtime and improves overall texture, tone, skin tightness, stretch marks, hair regrowth and acne scarring.
We use high strength numbing medication to ensure your comfort. The entire appointment takes about 45 minutes. Microchanneling is recommended to be completed in a series of three treatments spaced 4 weeks apar

PRE AND POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep these essential points in mind for post-treatment care while your skin’s micro-channels are recovering:
- For those prone to herpes simplex infections, begin taking anti-herpetic medications like acyclovir or valacyclovir a day before undergoing micro-needling to minimize the risk of flare-ups.
- Stop using high-strength retinol (over 2%) or tretinoin at least three days before your session.
- Consider taking Tylenol two hours before your appointment to alleviate potential discomfort.
- Please come to the clinic with a fresh, makeup-free face. Men should arrive with a clean shave.
- Treatments with longer needles might necessitate a numbing cream and could lead to redness, swelling, and specks of red lasting from 4 to 72 hours.
- For hair loss treatments, ensure your hair is cut short and washed, and avoid using styling products.
- Increase water intake by 24-32 ounces daily for a couple of days before receiving PRP or PRF treatments.
- Wait at least two weeks before undergoing micro-needling after having Botox, fillers, or thread lifts. Ensure satisfaction with these treatments first.
- Refrain from applying anything on the treated area for 90 minutes post-treatment unless prescribed by your ProCell-certified professional.
- Avoid exposure of the treated area to direct sunlight for a day after the procedure.
- Keep your hands, phones, and other items away from the treated area for 90 minutes post-treatment to prevent bacterial infection.
- Expect mild redness, swelling, and a tight sensation for up to 24 hours. Post-numbing, the skin may feel mildly sunburned; cool compresses are recommended.
- Apply the remaining Stem Cytokine H/A Roll within 15 minutes post-treatment.
- To prevent bacterial contamination, avoid touching the treated area with your hands or objects for 90 minutes after the procedure.
- Refrain from using other skincare products or makeup for at least 90 minutes following the treatment.
- Avoid using additional topical products for 6 hours or until the following day.
- Use extra moisturizers on days 2 to 4 to prevent moisture loss and dry skin.
- Plan for repeat treatments every 30 to 45 days, depending on need.
- Symptoms like tightness, itching, warmth, sensitivity, and a sunburn-like appearance are typical signs of healing and collagen production.
- Keep your skin hydrated and moisturized for optimal results. Use additional hydrating masks available from your ProCell provider if experiencing excessive dryness.
- Remember, water is a vital and simple addition to your skincare routine for enhanced results.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remember to keep the face clean for 24 hours
- Please do not touch the treated area for at least 2 hours post procedure - there are thousands of microscopic open areas on the skin and we do not want infection to occur
- You may resume skin care routine the following day however it’s best to avoid retinols for 5 days.
- Your skin will likely feel like a sun burn and experience some irritation such as redness, itching, and flaking
- Avoid makeup, harsh chemicals washes or lotions until your skin is back to baseline
